MY WINGS

The Arya Vysya Ladies Group International (AVLGI) boasts an initiative called “Wings,” a powerful offline platform designed specifically for Arya Vysya women. Launched a year and a half ago, Wings fosters a spirit of community service and connection among its members. These local chapters, spread across Bengaluru, other Karnataka cities, and even reaching international locations like Dubai and Singapore, provide a space for ladies to come together twice a week.

Here, the focus is two-fold: serving the greater good through social initiatives and offering entertainment and engaging activities for the women themselves. Each Wing is led by a dedicated team, with a president, secretary, and treasurer at the helm. Additionally, a board of directors strengthens the organization, comprising a director of international affairs, a director of wing care, a director of community care, and a director of public image. To ensure a vibrant and impactful group, a minimum of 27 members is required to establish a Wing. Currently, AVLGI proudly boasts over 24 active Wings, exceeding this benchmark. With a presence across Bengaluru, other parts of Karnataka, and even internationally, these Wings empower and connect over 2,000 Arya Vysya ladies.
